We are looking for a marketing manager to join our marketing team.
The successful candidate will assist with and be responsible for the following duties:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans in assigned category portfolio to achieve brands objectives as well as organizational goals.
- Work within a set budget to achieve various goals and targets.
- Analyse the marketing intelligence and trends of the assigned category portfolio.
- Liaison with supplier principals, internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate New Product Developments in the assigned category portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing and Brand Management:
Develop and implement marketing strategies for the growth of the brands in the assigned category portfolio to achieve the organisation’s goals. Continual assessment of the brand’s health and report to OM management periodically.
Manage assigned category brand portfolio for the marketing perspectives, include but not limited to managing/formulating brand positioning, strategic and tactical planning, market analysis for the assigned category brand portfolio.
Supervision of brand related external communication related to assigned category brand portfolio and channels and ensure completion or delegation of any marketing executions across all sales channels. (pricing, trade marketing ROI analysis, margins).
Assist, support and organise events and road shows.
Work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing and Asian Inspirations team to achieve annual purchase/sales targets.
Assist in the preparation of supermarket range reviews.
Strategic Planning:
Monitor and provide insights to competitors’ activities (including but not limited to sales, promotional and pricing activities), market and category trends to enable the management to make sound decisions.
Assist Senior Manager in portfolio planning. Include but not limited to market research, product planning and facilitate new product development.
Manage and coach a team of marketing professionals.
Supplier Management:
Conduct market visit within Australia as and when required.
Foster good working relationships with strategic brand partners.
Prepare and present business review for suppliers as and when required.
Perform other tasks assigned by Senior Manager as required
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with a sense of urgency
Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese (preferred)
