Oriental Merchant is an established importer/distributor of Asian grocery products. We are looking for our next warehouse superstar to join the team in our Welshpool Warehouse!

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be bulk picking grocery product orders, which includes lifting heavy items. The environment is busy and requires a high attention to detail and awareness of your surroundings.

This is a full-time permanent role. 

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm and Friday 6:00am - 12:30pm.

Requirements:

• Full Australian working rights
• Having a MR or HR licence is an advantageous.
• Experience as a pick/packer or warehouse assistant would be a great advantage, especially if your experience includes palletising/driving a pallet moved and RF scanning;
• Have a track record of accuracy and productivity
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have high attention to detail
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
• Have a positive attitude and able to work well in a team
• Comfortable lifting 20kgs of weight
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to own car is advantageous due to the nature of the role and location of the warehouse
